SUMMARY:Caregiver Support Group — You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
DESCRIPTION:Are you caring for a partner/spouse\, older family member or older loved one and finding that the responsibility can feel heavy and lonely at times? Caregiving is an act of love\, but it can also be emotionally and physically demanding. Our Caregiver Support Group offers a welcoming\, compassionate space for caregivers to connect with others who understand the unique challenges and rewards of this role. \nWhat this group offers: \n\nA supportive\, judgment-free environment to share experiences and feelings\nConnection with other caregivers who truly understand what you’re going through\nPractical guidance\, encouragement\, and helpful resources\nA sense of relief that comes from being heard\, understood\, and supported\n\nThe group meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 3 – 4 p.m. via Zoom. The group is free and open to the public. For questions\, contact Tara at 763-300-3146 or tburns@jfcsmn.org.
