SUMMARY:ARS - Raising Awareness\, Reducing Harm: Understanding Today’s Drug Trends
DESCRIPTION:Keep Your Family Safe: Understanding Today’s Drug Trends \nThe landscape of substance use is changing rapidly\, and staying informed is the best way to protect yourself and those you care for. We know that it can be hard to keep up to date on recent developments around the use of illicit substances. That is why we are offering a session about recent trends\, new developments and potential impacts of current commonly used substances. \nJoin us on Wednesday\, Feb. 25\, for an essential presentation: Raising Awareness\, Reducing Harm: Understanding Today’s Drug Trends. This session is designed specifically for parents\, professionals working with youth\, and caregivers of all kinds who would like to get a better understanding of the current drug landscape. We will explore emerging trends and provide practical tips for identifying commonly used substances and their physical impacts. We will also discuss how to bring up this sensitive subject with your kids and loved ones. \nWhy you should join us \nNavigating these topics can feel overwhelming\, but you don’t have to do it alone. We are excited to host Justin McNeal of Begin Anew Recovery\, an expert in the field who will lead a deep-dive discussion and facilitate a dedicated Q&A session to answer your specific concerns. Whether you want to sharpen your “detection” skills or simply learn how to start a healthy dialogue with a loved one\, this event offers the tools and community support you need. Light refreshments will be served. We look forward to seeing you there. \nThis event is free with in-person and online options available. Register below!
