DESCRIPTION:Join PJ Library Parent Connector Rachel for a Shabbat experience designed with littles in mind! We will sing songs\, read stories\, and enjoy snacks (including challah!). There’s always time to “shmooze” (relax and connect) with other PJ Library parents and caregivers\, too! \nThis program is designed for littles 0-2 years old. Older siblings are always welcome. This program is also designed for adults with any level of Jewish observance—you are “Jewish enough” to participate! Grandparents and nannies are welcome to attend! \nThese events are held outdoors in the summer. Please pack a blanket to sit on and anything else you/your baby will need to be comfortable outdoors. In case of inclement weather\, location change information will be sent to those who RSVP. \nEvents take place from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m: \n\nJune 12 in Minneapolis\nJuly 17 in Golden Valley\nAugust 7 in Eden Prairie\n\nREGISTER HERE! \nWe’re extending a special invitation to grandparents to attend this event as a JFCS Jewish Grandparent Community gathering!

DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, Aug. 13\n6:30 – 8 p.m.\nGolden Valley (RSVP for exact location) \nREGISTER HERE \nGrandparents often play an important role in caring for their grandchildren. Join us for an informative and practical introduction to infant and child CPR\, choking prevention\, and emergency response. \nThis session is designed for grandparents who are new to CPR\, as well as those who would like a refresher on current recommendations and best practices. Participants will learn how to recognize choking emergencies\, understand the basics of responding to breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children\, and gain confidence in knowing what to do until professional help arrives. \nPlease note: This is an educational overview and refresher session. It is not a certification course\, and participants will not receive CPR certification. \nIn addition to learning together\, we’ll enjoy time connecting with fellow grandparents\, sharing experiences\, building community\, and enjoying a sweet treat together.
