Celebrating the ParentChild+ Class of 2026

By Chantel Jullie • ParentChild+ Program Manager

This spring, ParentChild+ proudly celebrated the achievements of 117 children and their families as they completed the program and prepared for their next educational steps.

ParentChild+ is a free, two-year, early learning program serving families with children between 18 months and 3 years old. Through twice-weekly home visits, our Early Learning Specialists partner with families to support children’s development through books, educational toys, storytelling, conversation, and play.

What makes ParentChild+ special is the partnership we build with families. Together, we focus on each family’s unique strengths, goals, and hopes for their children. This collaborative approach continues to be the cornerstone of our success and the reason so many families remain engaged throughout the entire two-year experience.

The 2025-26 program year brought unexpected challenges for many of the families we serve. Despite uncertainty and difficult circumstances, families continued to open their doors and welcomed our staff into their homes. Their commitment to their children’s learning, growth, and well-being was remarkable. The trust they placed in our program and in our Early Learning Specialists was meaningful, and we are proud that we were able to maintain connections during this time.

Throughout May and June, individual graduation celebrations were held to recognize families who completed the two-year program. During their final home visit, each graduate received a graduation cap, personalized certificate, backpack, and book, while parents received a keepsake magnet featuring their child’s photo as a reminder of this special accomplishment.

These celebrations gave us the opportunity to honor not only the children’s growth, but also the dedication, perseverance, and love shown by their families throughout the past two years. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and excited to see what comes next.

In 2026, ParentChild+ Minnesota celebrated:

  • 95 graduates through JFCS of Minnesota
  • 4 graduates through Cass County
  • 18 graduates through Rice County

For a total of 117 ParentChild+ graduates statewide. Congratulations to the ParentChild+ Class  of 2026!
