Calling all Jewish Grandparents! Join us for an evening of pizza, community, and tikkum olam (repairing the world) to support JFCS’s Hag Sameach (Happy Holidays) program.
This service project is for all Jewish grandparents, no matter the age or location of your grandchildren. If you have grandchildren ages 10 and above, you are welcome to bring them along for an intergenerational experience! Come on your own, with another grandparent, and/or with an older grandchild. Grandchildren optional!
Together, we will assemble toiletry kits for local families who need extra support during the holiday season. Hag Sameach provides holiday gifts and essential items to community members in need—during the holidays and throughout the year. Participants will have the chance to tour the warehouse and see the program in action. Last year, Hag Sameach served more than 800 individuals, and this year we anticipate serving even more!
What to Expect
🍕 Enjoy pizza and connect with other Jewish Grandparents Community members (JGC) who are grandparenting locally and from afar. Older grandchildren (ages 10 and above) are invited to join in too.
🏢 Tour the Hag Sameach warehouse and see the program in action
🧴 Pack toiletry kits that will be distributed to families and teens this holiday season- no special skills needed!
