PJ Library of JFCS of Minnesota and Beth El Young Families invite you to join us in your favorite pajamas for a cozy family Havdalah celebrating the Jewish value of Hakarat HaTov — recognizing the good and expressing gratitude for the people, moments, and things that make our lives special.
We’ll gather for a delicious dinner, Havdalah blessings, and a special story. Families will also enjoy creating with Play-Doh and decorating gratitude jars to take home and fill with reminders of what they’re thankful for. Families are encouraged to bring an item to donate to a local food shelf as we share the goodness with others.
Let’s say goodbye to Shabbat, celebrate the good all around us, and welcome a new week with grateful hearts!
Registration required – Cost $36 per family (“pay what you can” option available).
This event is best geared toward families with children 8 & under, but all are welcome. Open to all families. You do not need to be a member of Beth El to attend.
