Current events related to immigration and enforcement can be confusing and frightening for children. We invite parents and caregivers to join a thoughtful, compassionate session focused on supporting you in these difficult conversations.
The session will begin with a processing space to reflect and share, followed by a practical exploration of tips and strategies for talking with children in age-appropriate, reassuring ways—helping address fears, questions, and misinformation.
This session will be co-led by JFCS Counseling Program Manager Angela Cowan MSW, LICSW and Parent Coach & Community Education Manager Leah Persky, PhD, who will offer guidance, tools, and a supportive space for connection.
